Applying Corporate Branding to Complex Technical Documents

Sarahjane undertook the challenging task of producing EDF’s text-heavy craft manuals in Adobe InDesign. The project involved eight manuals, each approximately 600 pages long. The original 1970s manuals were scanned into Microsoft Word files, which Sarahjane imported, formatted, and transformed into consistent, professional publications.

Working from the designer’s corporate branding and guidelines, Sarahjane created structured styles to maintain accuracy and consistency throughout every document. She also built automated contents pages and navigation links for each section, making the large manuals easier to use and update.

Highly organised with a logical approach to problem solving, Sarahjane ensured this complex publishing project was completed efficiently while maintaining strict brand and production standards.
