High quality print-ready artwork by Sarahjane

Sarahjane worked with The Specialist Works in their Brighton studio. Screwfix artwork was created from a designed template of the catalogue, leaflet, POS, poster etc. In English and German (copy and paste). Working with strict brand guidelines to keep consistency in the design. Downloading images from a web storage and filing in the correct places for future use. Using the latest Adobe InDesign to create the layout and PDF’s for amends / comments.

Student handbook created in InDesign by Freelance Artworker

Designed by the Art Director and finished by Sarahjane Jackson

The Art Director created the design concept and the branding with the college. From this branding Sarahjane created the 44 page Student Handbook and Pre-arrival Handbook as print ready artwork.

The Artwork consisted of setting up InDesign master pages using styles. Collating images and using Photoshop to save them as print ready. Changes and amends where added to the PDF proofs by the college and Sarahjane completed these to reach the final version.

Data tables imported from Microsoft Word to Adobe InDesign by Freelance Artworker

Table design is quick when you know how

Table design is neat and tidy and can be achieved with Adobe InDesign styles for a consistent look and feel. A colour of font change can be made with one click instead of multi page amends. Using InDesign, the tables flow nicely from page to page the same a Microsoft Word and can be easily imported. There is more control in InDesign to Word and will look more professional.
